Erda is interested in the issues of planning for community and neighborhood. She is also interested in the land use plan, policy, tourism planning, environmental planning, program evaluation and disaster management. She finished her Bachelor on the Regional Planning major in the Department of Geography, University of Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta. She then work for Center for Tourism Studies for two years before pursuing master degree in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. She is now doing her PhD in Utrecht University Netherland, in Human Geography and Spatial Planning Department.
She join several affiliations i.e East West Center (EWC), American Planning Association (APA) and International Fellowship Program (IFP), Indonesia Social Justice Network (ISJN). Moreover, Erda build the Indonesia Tourism Watch (ITW) which is part of her dedication to the development of tourism in Indonesia. Erda wrote her first Novel titled: From Borneo to Hawaii and it has been published at June 2012. Erda loves to write about anything. So far, she writes in Bahasa Indonesia as her dedication for her native language. However, she likes to write in English as well. She will be happy to be reached for further discussion.
